I have adapted this article from a wonderful email I got this morning, and it’s just too good not to share with you… I know it has the power to help any situation.
Napoleon Hill said it most succinctly, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” But some of us (like me) need a little more explanation than that to proceed… so Stephen (and editor Donna) wrote this in an understandable, and very do-able way:
Wouldn’t it be nice if you had a genie at your disposal?
You know, that gigantic magical creature appearing from the curling white smoke of Aladdin’s lamp who can grant anyone three wishes? Most of us would almost give up a limb to get ahold of their own genie…
Just imagine, fame, fortune, good health, loving relationships…all these would then be yours for the taking. It’s like staring at a catalogue of the universe and pointing out the wondrous things that you want to be delivered at your doorstep.
But, of course, all of that is just wishful thinking… pretty much, however…
There is actually a power that all men and women have access to that will allow you to realize your deepest desires and aspirations. That power is within our own minds, and it is… “Creative Visualization!”
Basically, creative visualization harnesses the power of your inner mind by converting your abstract thoughts into concrete realities. It is founded on the premise that whatever exists in the physical level must first take place in a higher plane, which is the mental level. Everything, including all of us, is made of pure energy.
Just take a look at the artistic and timeless masterpieces of some of the greatest artists known to mankind like Michaelangelo, Van Gogh and Picasso. But before they ever picked up their paintbrushes, or mixed the paint in their palettes or ever set up their easels, they already had a well-defined image in their mind of what they were about to paint.
They just didn’t go about splashing random colors on their canvas and prayed for the best. They VISUALIZED the end results first…
Just like them, it will take serious effort and intense concentration to achieve your own masterpiece. But the good news is, that it CAN BE DONE.
Here are some guidelines for a calming, and very powerful creative visualization session…
First, seek out your comfort zone. Whether you prefer to meditate in silence at a Church, or on a secluded nature trail, or any other tranquil spot you love, even in your own private office cubicle or perhaps in the comfort of your own home, the most important thing you have to remember is that you need to be relaxed and at ease.
Noise should be reduced at a minimum so that you can mentally shut out your actual environment. Often, that is difficult to do, but never impossible… just find a quiet place and get started.
Secondly, decide on your goal. What is your pressing need in this moment? If it is good health, then focus on already having a healthy body. Imagine your next trip to the doctor’s office with positive outcomes and laboratory results at normal levels.
If you want abundance, imagine cash coming right to your house. Visualilze images of checks in your name arriving at your mailbox… day after day, in the come written in large amounts to YOU.
If you want to heal a broken relationship, repeatedly visualize yourself shaking hands with your partner. Sometimes a handshake is all we can muster if there is a lot of pain attached to the person we want to reconcile with. Later you can visualize hugs, then kisses, etc… but start with the handshake. Just create a distinct mental image of what you really want and keep it uppermost in your mind.
Thirdly, give positive feelings to your mental image. Make yourself smile (it releases beta-endorphins that actually make you feel better even if the smile is not genuinely oriented). Be ecstatically optimistic. Literally drown yourself with pure, unadulterated joy during that moment. Feel the exhilaration, infuse the situation with excitement and peace.
Make a conscious effort to eliminate all the negative vibrations attached to the situation. Let go of all the heartaches and the heartbreaks you’ve experienced in the past. Whenever you think of something negative, immediately make yourself STOP! and replace the thought with one of joy and positivity. Remember to be consistent in performing this negativity replacement exercise.

Doing these exercises daily is best, for faster results. Recall that it takes 30 days to change ANY habit… and it’s not really that long if you really think about it, compared to the misery you are enduring now, especially.
If possible, set aside a few minutes of your time every day, preferably upon awakening and before going to sleep. This will solidify your expectations (and yes, you need to EXPECT the good things to happen, it’s part of the process) and it will put you in the right frame of mind as you go through the motions of your daily life.
Believe that the best will happen to you and your dreams will be realized sooner than you ever dreamed.
Ignore the past (remember, it’s history now), and believe that you will receive what you want and need. Visualize a purpose for it all, and it will manifest in your life even sooner.

I will look forward to hearing all about your success stories, because I’m sure that they will be many if you follow this creative visualization path.
Enjoy, be healthy & prosper,
Donna
