I have been so super-busy getting my house ready to go on the market that I’ve totally ignored this blog… I do apologize profusely. On the bright side, though, I’ve gotten through over fifty years of belongings and thinned them out drastically.

Still have more thinning and giving away to do (it sure makes the recipients happy to get all the cool stuff that won’t fit in my car) but at least the house is ready to start showing now.

Why am I doing this?

Upon reaching the age of being able to live on social security (as if that’s possible in the USA) I came to the realization that I don’t have the means at this point in time to keep my home and pay my debt-mountain down with what’s coming in vs. what’s going out.

Thankfully, there are alternatives and I’m going to take one of them up… such as make a major move out of the country and live close to a couple of dear friends in what they refer to as “paradise”.

I can’t wait to tell you more – right now I’m still pinching myself to see if it’s for real… :-))
